For Immediate Release: 08/29/19

SENECA FALLS—Traffic will be limited on a road in the town of Seneca Falls to enable contractors for the New York State Canal Corporation to perform repairs on a culvert that feeds water to the Cayuga-Seneca Canal.

Bayard Street will be closed between Bridge Street and Ovid Street except for local traffic to homes and businesses. However, vehicles will not be allowed to travel over the culvert.

Motorists can use Bridge Street, Barker Street and Ovid Street to detour around the culvert.

Canal operations are not affected by the road closure.
