The 16th annual Waterford Tugboat Roundup begins on Friday, September 11 with the Albany to Waterford Tugboat Parade led by the Canal Corporation's flagship Tug URGER, Grand Erie, and Tender 3 – three premier vessels of the New York State Fleet.

The annual Waterford Tugboat Roundup is a family-friendly festival celebrating the heritage of the Erie Canal in Waterford and is filled with tugboat viewing and tours, music, food, children's activities, vendors, boat rides and fireworks.
