Portion of Canalway Trail in Lockport to Be Temporarily Closed
Access will be Restricted Today, Monday, Dec. 7 until Friday, Dec. 11

The New York State Canal Corporation today announced that ongoing construction in the vicinity of Lock E-34/35 in the City of Lockport will require the temporary closure of a portion of the Canalway Trail adjacent to the lock facility. This closure will begin today, Monday, Dec. 7, and is expected to continue until at least Friday, Dec. 11.
This portion of the Canalway Trail will be reopened as soon as conditions allow.
The Canal Corporation appreciates the public's patience while the repairs are being made.
