Oswego Canal

Mariners are advised that the Oswego Canal that had been temporarily closed due to high water levels and flows associated with recent heavy rainfall has been reopened.  The entire New York State Canal System is open to navigation.

Mariners should proceed with caution and be aware of debris in the water or buoys which may move off station in strong currents.
