Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Kingsbury

October 14, 2016

Mariners are advised of bridge rehabilitation activities on the State Route 149 bridge (C-21) over the Champlain Canal now through the rest of the navigation season.  Scaffolding hanging below the structure will reduce overhead clearance for half of the channel width, as the rehabilitation is staged for half of the bridge at a time.  Additionally, slight delays may occasionally occur.

Mariners are to reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
