Erie Canal – Town of Macedon

Mariners are advised of bridge repair activities on the Walworth Road Bridge over the Erie Canal immediately west of Lock E29 Palmyra.  It is expected that encroachment upon the channel will not occur often, if at all, and the normal overhead clearance of 16.25 feet will not be affected.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
