Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Macedon

June 28, 2016

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal immediately upstream of, and including, Lock E-30 (Macedon) will be closed to all vessel traffic on Tuesday, June 28th from noon-4pm due to marine operations blocking the channel at the upper approach.  Though this section of the Canal may reopen to vessel traffic periodically during this time, mariners should expect significant delays in this location and should plan accordingly.
