Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Pittsford

May 27, 2016

 

Mariners are advised that there will be a rowing shell regatta taking place on the Erie Canal between the Cartersville Guard Gate at mile 252.3 and the Monroe Ave/Route 31 Bridge (E-140) at mile 253.91 on Saturday, May 28th and Sunday, May 29th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  On Friday, May 27th at 3:00 PM some teams will be practicing on this stretch of the canal and getting familiar with the course.

Slight delays may occur. Proceed through the area at a “No Wake” speed between event heats.

The name of the event is the Pittsford Regatta. The event organizer’s website is http://www.pittsfordcrew.org.
