Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – City of Rochester

April 27, 2016

Mariners are advised that bridge removal activities on East Henrietta Road, SR 15A (Bridge E-145) over the Erie Canal, in the City of Rochester, Monroe County are scheduled to continue until the end of the season. This work is not expected to cause any vertical clearance restrictions or any width clearance restrictions.

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AHEAD signs will be in placed at each end of the work zone and navigation aids will be in place to delineate the work zone. A bridge watchman will also be stationed at this site.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
