Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Scotia to Alplaus

September 29, 2014

 

Mariners are advised that there will be a rowing shell regatta taking place on the Erie Canal between Jumping Jacks in Scotia at mile 21.3 and the Burnt Hills Boathouse at mile 18.5 on Sunday October 4th from 7:30 am to 3 pm.  Slight delays may occur.  Proceed through the area at a “No Wake” speed between event heats.

The name of the event is the Spartan Sweeps Regatta.  The event organizer’s website is http://bhrow.com.
