Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Town of Albion

September 17, 2015

 

Mariners are advised that bridge repair activities on Presbyterian Road (Bridge E-205) over the Erie Canal, in the Town of Albion, Orleans County are schedule to begin September 21st and continue until October 9th. This work is not expected to cause any vertical clearance restrictions. The navigation channel width under the bridge will be slightly reduced but will not significantly affect navigation.

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AHEAD signs will be in placed at each end of the work zone and navigation aids will be in place to delineate the work zone.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
