Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Niskayuna/Clifton Park

September 1, 2015

 

Mariners are advised of soil boring activities occurring around Bridge E-8, State Route 146 over the Erie Canal, now through October 1st.  Barges will occasionally encroach into the channel.

 

Mariners are to proceed through this area at a “no wake” speed not exceeding 5 mph.
