Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Scotia/Rotterdam

August 4, 2015

Mariners are advised of a reduced water surface level between Locks E8 Scotia and E9 Rotterdam, resulting in lower than normal depths until further notice. It is estimated that the water elevation may be as much as 6 inches below normal navigation pool at times.
