Erie Canal – Town of Ridgeway
July 9, 2015
Mariners are advised that bridge repair activities on Marshall Road (Bridge E-212) over the Erie Canal that had been originally announced in a June 30th Notice to Mariners to take place from July 1-14 have been extended through the end of the month.
This work is not expected to cause any vertical clearance restrictions. The navigation channel width under the bridge will be slightly reduced but will not significantly affect navigation.
BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AHEAD signs are in place at each end of the work zone and navigation aids delineate the work zone.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
