Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Brewerton

Mariners are advised of a fireworks display off of the south shore of Oneida Lake/Oneida River between I-81 (E-63A) & US-11 (E-64) bridges on Friday, July 3rd from 9-10 pm.

Mariners transiting through the area are to maintain a safe distance from the fireworks source, travel at a ‘no wake’ speed of not more than 5 mph, and be aware of denser than usual traffic and anchored spectator boats in the area.
