Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Lock E-25 to E-30
June 11, 2015

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal is closed to navigation from Lock E-25 (May's Point) to Lock E-30 (Macedon) due to high water from recent heavy rainfall.

The following sections of the Canal System are now closed:

• Erie Canal from Lock E-24 (Baldwinsville) to Lock E-30 (Macedon).

• Cayuga-Seneca Canal from Lock CS-1 (Aurelius) to Erie Canal junction.

These sections of the Canal System will be reopened as soon as conditions are safe for navigation.
