Notice to Mariners

Onondaga Lake – City of Syracuse / Town of Geddes
June 8, 2015

 

Mariners are advised of a submerged 12” diameter dredge pipeline approximately one foot below the surface of Onondaga Lake spanning from – though not blocking – the Syracuse Inner Harbor outlet, west toward an ongoing dredging/remediation project on the west side of Onondaga Lake.  The pipeline is black in color and is delineated by a string of yellow buoys.  Mariners should exercise caution when transiting this area.
