Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Waterford

May 13, 2015

 

Mariners are advised that the Waterford Flight (Locks E2-E6 and Guard Gates 1 & 2) is closed until further notice due to an electrical malfunction.  Crews have been dispatched to repair.  A subsequent Notice to Mariners will be issued updating repair progress and announcing reopening.

 

Webcams showing docking at the Waterford Visitors center (at the bottom of the Flight) are displayed at http://72.0.156.246:7111 and http://72.0.156.246:7110.

Marinas and public docks are listed at /Boating-Information and appear on the Canal Map at /Navigation-Information/Canal-Map.
