Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Towns of Halfmoon & Colonie

May 11, 2015

 

Mariners are advised of helicopter firefighting exercises to be performed above and on the Erie Canal/Mohawk River between the NYS Route 9 bridge (E-6) and Interstate I-87 twin arch bridges (E-7A) on Tuesdays, May 12th, 19th and 26th.  Aircraft firefighting apparatuses will be coming into contact with the surface of the water.
