Bridge Repair Extension: Erie Canal below Lock E32 Pittsford

Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Pittsford, Monroe County
August 4, 2023
Mariners are advised that the bridge repair operation on the Clover St. SR 65 Bridge (E-141) over the Erie Canal, in Pittsford, will continue the week of 8/7/23 until further notice. This bridge is being repaired using an Under Bridge Inspection Unit, which is deployed from the deck of the bridge.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, sound horns, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting this area. A spotter will watch for approaching vessel traffic to alert the repair crew.
