Erie Canal - Rotterdam

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-9 in Rotterdam will operate with reduced width due to a non-operating upper gate beginning at 9:00 a.m. today, July 13th. Vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet may pass without interruption. It is anticipated the lock will return to normal operating width by 2:00 p.m. today.
Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
