Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Brighton

June 30, 2023

Mariners are advised of a fireworks display in the vicinity of Meridian Centre Park in Brighton, west of Erie Canal Lock E-33 in Rochester, on Tuesday, July 4th at 9:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Fallout from the fireworks display may affect the Canalway Trail and possibly the Canal itself. Law enforcement will be present to prevent passage on the Canalway Trail.
