Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Brewerton

June 30, 2023

Mariners are advised that a boat parade will occur on Monday, July 3rd, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will start at the Route 81 Bridge (E-63A) over the Erie Canal moving west and will proceed north at Buoy R "158" to Caughdenoy, returning to the Route 81 Bridge. Approximately 50 to 60 vessels will participate. The Oswego County Sheriff's Office, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, and Department of Environmental Conservation patrol boats, as well as several fire departments will accompany the parade.
