Notice to Mariners

Cayuga-Seneca Canal – Waterloo

June 9, 2023

Mariners are advised of an underwater inspection occurring on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal on the following schedule:

Monday, June 12th – Cayuga-Seneca Canal Lock CS-4 in Waterloo – All Approach Wall Areas

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should reduce speed and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting these areas.
