Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Albion

Mariners are advised that the Albion Strawberry Festival, in the Village of Albion, will hold a turtle race in the Canal on Saturday, June 10th, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The event will start at Main Street and continue east to Ingersoll Street. Floats will be set in the Canal to mark the course with a Fire Rescue Boat and kayaks positioned along the course.

Boaters may be delayed for a short period of time during the race and should plan their itineraries accordingly.
