Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Monroe County

September 19, 2022

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal lift bridge inspections will be conducted on the following schedule:

  • Tuesday, September 20th – Main St. Lift Bridge (E-128) over the Erie Canal in Fairport.
  • Wednesday, September 21st – Washington St. Lift Bridge (E-178) over the Erie Canal in Adams Basin.

Delays may occur due lift bridges remaining in the lowered position for an extended period during inspections.
