Notice to Mariners

Oswego Canal – Phoenix

July 26, 2022

Mariners are advised of an underwater inspection occurring on the Oswego Canal on the following schedule:

• Thursday, July 28 – Oswego Canal Lock O-1 (Phoenix) – Taintor Gate, west of the lock

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should reduce speed and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting these areas.
