Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Schuylerville to Fort Edward

July 13, 2022

Mariners are advised of floating debris and trees from Champlain Canal Lock C-5 in Schuylerville to Lock C-7 in Ft. Edward particularly north of Lock C-6 in Fort Miller, where trees have been reported in the navigation channel. Canal maintenance forces are on site.

Boaters should proceed with extreme caution through these areas.
