Underwater Inspections: Oswego Canal Lock O2 and Lock O3 Fulton

Notice to Mariners

Oswego Canal – Fulton

June 17, 2022

Mariners are advised of underwater inspections occurring on the Oswego Canal in Fulton starting on the following schedule:

  • Monday, June 20 – Oswego Canal Lock O-3 (Fulton) – Northeast Guide Piers
  • Tuesday, June 21 – Oswego Canal Lock O-3 (Fulton) – Northeast Retaining Wall and Northwest Approach Wall
  • Wednesday, June 22 – Oswego Canal Lock O-2 (Fulton) – Guide Piers above Lock O-2 and Northeast Approach Wall  
  • Friday, June 24 – Oswego Canal – Upper East Side Fulton Dam (Fulton)

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should reduce speed and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting these areas.
