Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Macedon

July 21, 2020

 

Mariners are advised that bridge rehabilitation in activities on the Quaker/O’Neil Bridge E-120 over the Erie Canal in the town of Macedon are in progress and will continue through the end of the navigation season. Manlifts will be working beneath the bridge from shore. Normal overhead clearance will not be affected. Construction signs are posted on both sides of the bridge. A watchman will be stationed on the bridge to monitor vessel traffic.

Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, blow horns, and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when traversing this area.
