NOTICE TO MARINERS

UPDATED LOCK OPERATING SCHEDULE – EASTERN ERIE CANAL

The New York State Canal Corporation announced today that the following locks on the Erie Canal are scheduled to open on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. for the 2020 navigation season.

The Mohawk River continues to experience low flow. The following locks on the Erie Canal will open during the week of July 20^th as soon as water levels allow.

Construction and maintenance activities continue at the following locks on the Erie Canal. The projected opening date for those locations is noted below in bold font.

The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation on October 14, 2020.
