Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Macedon

July 12, 2020

Mariners are advised that construction related activities are in progress on the Quaker/O’Neil Bridge E-120 over the Erie Canal in the town of Macedon. As a result, normal overhead clearance will be reduced for 1-2 days.

Boaters approaching this area should be aware of the vertical clearance of their vessels and proceed with caution.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, blow horns, and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when traversing this area.
