Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Verona

May 21, 2020

Mariners are advised that supplemental aid to navigation buoys have been placed at from the mouths of Wood Creek, and Fish Creek, due to shoaling on the north side of the navigation channel, at these locations. These creeks are located between Lock E-22 in New London and Sylvan Beach, Oneida County. Boaters are urged to use caution when transiting these areas.
