Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal/Mohawk River

October 9, 2019

Mariners are advised that water levels along the Mohawk River section of the Erie Canal have subsided enough that governing clearances for the following bridges are back to their standard clearances of 21’.

  • Bridge E-42, Dyke Road

  • Bridge E-43, Leland Ave.

  • Bridge E-44A, Genesee St.

  • Bridge E-44B, SR 8 & 12

  • Bridge E-46, railroad, MHWA (ADC)

  • Bridge E-47A Mohawk St.

  • Bridge E-47B, NYS Thruway, I-90

These bridges can be found on the NOAA charts 14786 E-24 and E-23
