Notice to Mariners

Cayuga-Seneca Canal – Seneca Falls/Waterloo

September 27, 2019

Mariners are advised that the Seneca Monster Classic regatta will be taking place on Saturday, September 28th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Approximately 30 canoes/kayaks will be participating in the event. The course starts at Oak Island in Waterloo, continues to Seneca Lake and finishes at Oak Island. Navigation inspectors will be present on the course.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when approaching event participants. Slight delays may occur.
