Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Mechanicville

August 22, 2019

Mariners are advised that Champlain Canal Lock C-3 in Mechanicville will only be passing vessels with a maximum width of 22’ due to an inoperable upper right (east) gate, until further notice. Vessels will need to pass through the left (west) gate. Vessels wider than 22' may contact the Navigation Program Manager in advance at (518) 461-0942 for further details.
