Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Galen

August 21, 2019

Mariners are advised that bridge decking replacement work is in progress on Old Railroad Bridge E-93 over the Erie Canal, just west of Erie Canal Lock E-26 in Clyde.

Spotters will alert workers of approaching vessels who will suspend work to allow vessels to pass under the bridge.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when traversing this area.
