Notice to Mariners

Oswego Canal – Fulton/Minetto/Oswego

August 16, 2019

Mariners are advised of a kayak, canoe and SUP Paddlefest occurring on the Oswego Canal downstream (north) of Lock O-3 Fulton through Lock O-8 Oswego on Saturday, August 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Approximately 400 to 500 kayaks, canoes and paddleboards will be participating. 

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting the event and under no circumstances shall any vessel exceed 5 MPH.
