Notice to Mariners

Cayuga-Seneca Canal – Seneca Falls

Mariners are advised that bridge inspectors will utilize snooper trucks under Bridge S-6 Ovid Street over the Seneca Canal in Seneca Falls on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 8:30 am and 3:00 pm. 

Spotters will warn inspectors of approaching vessels and move the man lifts to allow vessels to pass under the bridge.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
