Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Spencerport

July 9, 2019

Mariners are advised of bridge repair activities that are in progress and will continue until the end of the navigation season for Erie Canal Bridge E-174 Union Street over the Erie Canal. Normal overhead clearance will not be affected. Width clearance is restricted to 46 feet. Buoys are delineating the navigation channel.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when traversing this area.
