Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Lockport
July 1, 2019
Mariners are advised that Lock E-34/35 Lockport will close at 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 4th for a fireworks display at the lock. A 100-yard safe fallout zone will be established east end of the lock. Pedestrian access to the lock grounds will be blocked. Law enforcement vessels will be present.
The lock will reopen after the event to clear vessel traffic from the area.
