Notice to Mariners

Erie and Oswego Canals

June 21, 2019

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-23 Brewerton to Lock E-28A Lyons and to Lock C/S-1 Cayuga and the entire Oswego Canal from Lock O-1 Phoenix to Lock O-8 Oswego are closed due to high water levels and heavy flows from recent heavy rainfall, until further notice.

 Boaters may still use Lock E-23 Brewerton to access Oneida Lake.
