Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Schuylerville/Northumberland

June 7, 2019

Mariners are advised that the swim leg of the Hudson Crossing Triathlon will take place in the Champlain Canal, north of Lock C-5 Northumberland on Sunday, June 9th. Due to this activity, Lock C-5 and the portion of the Champlain Canal between Lock C-5 and the Northumberland Dam will be closed to vessel traffic from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, after passing any waiting boaters through the lock.
