Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Waterford Flight

May 31, 2019

 

Mariners are advised that the Paddle the Flight kayak and canoe paddling event will be taking place on the Waterford Flight, Locks E-2 to E-6 on Sunday, June 2nd, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

There will be law enforcement and safety vessels present on the event course. Up to 120 canoes and kayaks will be participating in the event.

Mariners are to proceed through this area with caution at “no wake” speeds.
