Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Aqueduct Park/Niskayuna

May 10, 2019

Mariners are advised that the 9^th Annual Schenectady County PEDDLE-PADDLE-RUN group kayak and canoe event will be taking place on the Erie Canal just west of the Rexford Bridge on Saturday, May 11^th starting at 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

The event course will be marked with buoys, with spotters and law enforcement vessels positioned along the course. There will be up to 100 participants on the course.

Mariners are to proceed through the event course area with caution at “no wake” speeds.
