Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Albion-Main Lift Bridge

November 02, 2018

Mariners are advised of bridge repair activities beginning on November 7, 2018 and occurring though November 14, 2018 on Erie Canal Lift Bridge E-200, Main Street over the Erie Canal. It is expected that a barge will slightly encroach into the channel. The normal overhead clearance will not be affected.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
