Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Oneida Lake

November 1, 2018

Mariners are advised that the buoys on Oneida Lake have been pulled out for the season have been replaced with smaller, ice-resistant spars of the same color marking their locations. Additionally, lit fixed navigational aids have been extinguished and removed for the season.

Chart 14786 E-16 and 14788 (same map but larger and more detailed) covering the affected area can be found at 14786e16.webp and 14788.webp.
