Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Macedon to Pittsford

September 4, 2018

 

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal navigation pool bound by Locks E30 Macedon and E32 Pittsford is being slowly lowered in anticipation of an upcoming high-water event.  It is expected that the water surface level will reach its lowest (down by approximatley 0.7 feet) on Thursday, September 6th.  Vessels moored in this pool might need lines adjusted.
