Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal/Onondaga Lake Outlet – Towns of Geddes, Clay, and Lysander

August 8, 2018

 

Mariners are advised of a rowing regatta occurring on the Onondaga Lake Outlet (both branches around Klein Island) and the Erie Canal both east and west of the outlet junctions from Marker G “263 to Buoy R “298” from Thursday, August 9th through Sunday, August 12th.  Mariners are to wait for breaks in between heats and then proceed at a "No Wake” speed through the event.  Slight delays can be expected, and itineraries should be adjusted to compensate.
