Notice to Mariners

Cayuga-Seneca Canal – Waterloo to Seneca Falls

August 1, 2018

 

Mariners are advised of a large group paddling event on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal between Oak Island Park, upstream of Lock CS4, and the Seneca Falls boat ramp on Saturday, August 18^th from 9 AM until 2 PM.

 

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting through this event and under no circumstances shall any vessel exceed 5 MPH.
